Engagement of Young Professionals in the Competition Commission of India on Contract Basis

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Young Professionals (YPs) on a contractual basis initially for a period of one year, which may be extended further based on the assessment of performance and requirement of the Commission. The Commission is looking for young and dynamic professionals who can contribute to the functions of the CCI. The Young Professionals (YPs) shall be engaged to assist the Commission in carrying out its mandate under the Competition Act, 2002. The key responsibilities of the YPs shall include, but not be limited to: 1. Assisting in various competition law and policy matters, 2. Providing inputs and assistance in drafting orders, regulations, and other legal documents, 3. Undertaking research and analysis to support the work of the Commission, 4. Providing assistance in organizing events, workshops, conferences, etc., and 5. Any other work assigned by the Commission.

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is a statutory body of the Government of India responsible for enforcing The Competition Act, 2002. The Commission is responsible for promoting competition, preventing practices having adverse effect on competition, and protecting the interests of consumers in India.
