Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards to lead the organization's global rewards strategy. The role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Compensation & Benefits programs that support business objectives, attract and retain top talent, and ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness. The incumbent will have experience managing Compensation & Benefits for India and global markets, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and global reward philosophies.
Key Responsibilties
- Lead the organization's Total Rewards strategy, including Compensation & Benefits across India and global locations
- Design, implement, and continuously improve compensation structures, salary frameworks, incentive plans, bonus programs, and long-term reward strategies
- Manage Compensation & Benefits for India and globally, ensuring alignment with business goals and regional market practices
- Drive annual compensation processes, including salary benchmarking, merit reviews, promotions, bonus planning, and incentive administration
- Conduct market benchmarking using leading compensation surveys to maintain competitive pay practice
- Develop and administer executive, sales, and variable pay programs
- Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements across multiple geographies.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide strategic compensation guidance and reward solution
- Lead job evaluation, grading, role mapping, and organization-wide pay equity initiatives
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and flexible benefits
- Utilize HR analytics and reward metrics to drive data-based compensation decisions and workforce planning
- Collaborate with Finance and leadership teams on budgeting, workforce costs, and compensation governance
- Lead and mentor the Compensation & Benefits team while driving continuous process improvement and digital transformation in reward management
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
- 12–18+years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits and Total Rewards
- Proven experience as Head of Compensation & Benefits or in a senior Total Rewards leadership role
- Demonstrated experience managing Compensation & Benefits for India and global operations
- Strong expertise in compensation design, benefits strategy, job evaluation, salary benchmarking, executive compensation, and variable pay
- Experience with HRIS, compensation tools, and analytics platforms
- Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
