About the role

We're a London-based catering company that's well established, but still has that agile, start-up hunger. Think big dreams, bold flavours, and a 3-year growth plan that's genuinely freaking amazing. That's where you come in. We're on the hunt for a brilliantly ambitious, wildly capable Operations Manager who knows the B&I catering world like their own kitchen drawer. Someone who loves smashing expectations, dodges the status quo like it's last week's buffet, and can lead a team with equal parts passion and precision. What's the deal? You'll be running the show across our central London contracts—current and shiny new ones. This means keeping clients delighted, teams energised, and service levels soaring beyond "just great" into "how are they even doing that?" You'll need to bring your A-game (and your B&I experience) to juggle: Day-to-day operations that sing like a well-oiled (and well-fed) machine Client relationships that go beyond polite emails and into true partnerships Teams that love coming to work (and not just for the food) A relentless focus on standards, details, and delivering excellence with flair You'll thrive here if you: Live for fast-paced environments and challenge is your middle name Are obsessed (in a healthy way) with food, service, and making things better—always Have a few great stories about how you implemented systems that actually worked Can wrangle P&Ls, KPIs, and budgets without breaking a sweat Lead from the front, get your hands dirty, and inspire teams to go the extra mile (and love doing it) We're after someone who's: A foodie at heart, with at least 3 years' experience in B&I contract catering management A natural team leader who's turned 'good' into 'brilliant' Commercially savvy with sharp decision-making skills Bursting with ideas and brave enough to push them forward (even if it means shaking things up) We want the wow factor. Someone who brings energy, innovation and just the right amount of rebelliousness to challenge the norm and shape the future of our business.
