Roles & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with regulations for IFSCA for FME and AIFs, MCA for Companies and LLPs, SEZ, and FEMA.
- Assisting and guiding the team to enhance governance and transparency in various reporting and industry best practices, ensuring proper disclosure to shareholders, regulators, and other stakeholders in accordance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Keeping updated on changes in the legal and regulatory landscape and implementing the necessary changes within the organisation.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as finance, legal, management, and other department heads.
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including legal advisors, consultants, auditors, IFSCA, SEZ, RBI, RTA, ROC, and other regulatory authorities.
- Ensure proper record-keeping (physical and electronic) of all compliance-related documents for all entities.
- Advising the Board, Partners, and other senior personnel on securities law, company law and other compliance-related laws and ensuring timely necessary compliance.
Requirements/Preferences:
- Qualified Company Secretary with 3+ years of post-qualification experience and in-depth knowledge of Securities Law, Company Law, Limited Liability Partnership Act, and other relevant laws.
- Good knowledge and experience of fund management and investment management compliance with SEBI, IFSCA and SEZ Authorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct.
