Role Description The Company Secretary at SSRC Logistics Ltd will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate laws, regulatory requirements, and governance standards. This full-time, on-site role based in South Goa includes preparing and maintaining statutory records, registers, and minutes of board and general meetings, as well as coordinating with directors and stakeholders on company secretarial matters. The role involves filing necessary returns and documents with regulatory authorities, drafting and reviewing corporate documents, policies, and resolutions, and supporting the board with governance best practices. The Company Secretary will also assist in managing corporate disclosures, overseeing share-related activities where applicable, and liaising with legal, finance, and operations teams to support strategic decisions and risk management.
Qualifications
- Professional qualification as Company Secretary (CS) from a recognized institute; additional degrees in Law, Commerce, or Business Administration are an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of company law, corporate governance, compliance frameworks, and regulatory filings relevant to logistics and transportation businesses.
- Experience in drafting minutes, resolutions, policies, and corporate documents, with excellent written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively with boards, regulators, auditors, legal counsel, and internal departments, demonstrating strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools and compliance/secretarial software; comfort with digital record-keeping and reporting systems.
- Proven attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality, with strong organizational and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant industry experience in logistics, transportation, or a similar sector is preferred, along with familiarity with risk management and internal controls.
