Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Company Research professional at ARN Advisors. The role involves conducting in-depth company and industry research, collecting and analyzing financial and commercial data, and preparing clear research summaries and profiles to support transfer pricing and international tax projects. The Company Research professional will review public filings, databases, and market reports to identify suitable comparables and benchmarks, and will organize data in a structured, audit-ready manner. Responsibilities include collaborating with advisors on research needs, maintaining updated research repositories, and ensuring accuracy and consistency across all documentation. The role requires proactive communication with team members in different time zones and adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical skills, including experience with company, industry, and market research using public databases and online resources.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, including comfort with financial statements, key performance indicators, and basic quantitative methods.
- Excellent written communication skills for preparing concise summaries, profiles, and documentation; attention to detail and ability to present complex information clearly.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, maintain structured records, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Working knowledge of finance, economics, taxation, or related fields; prior exposure to transfer pricing, international tax, or professional services research is an advantage.
- Comfort with productivity tools and research platforms (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, online databases); willingness to learn new tools as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Business, Statistics, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality in handling client information.
