Role Description The Companion – Loneliness & Care role at Atiris Wellness is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The individual in this role will spend their day providing emotional support, conversation, and social engagement to clients who may be experiencing loneliness or limited social contact. Typical responsibilities include visiting clients in person, actively listening to their concerns, encouraging participation in light activities, and helping them maintain a routine that supports their overall well-being. The role may also involve coordinating with care teams, family members, or healthcare professionals to report observations and ensure continuity of care. The Companion is expected to maintain clear documentation of interactions, uphold confidentiality, and create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for each client.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build trust, listen actively, and engage empathetically with clients.
- Candidates should possess knowledge or exposure to Medicine and Critical Care Medicine to understand basic health-related concerns and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide consistent, client-centered support and handle requests with patience and professionalism.
- Candidates should possess the ability to maintain accurate records, follow care guidelines, and adhere to privacy and safety protocols.
- Relevant experience in caregiving, counseling, social work, or healthcare support is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfort working on-site in Gurugram, with a reliable ability to be present according to scheduled shifts.
