Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Commvault Backup Engineer L1 role based in Mumbai. The Commvault Backup Engineer will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Commvault solutions, ensuring efficient data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. The role will also include performance monitoring, capacity planning, and implementing backup strategies. Additionally, the engineer will collaborate with teams to optimize IT infrastructure and support end-users.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Commvault administration, backup, and recovery operations
- Experience required 2+ Years
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving backup-related issues
- Knowledge of storage technologies, disaster recovery planning, and data management
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, virtualization, and networking concepts
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Relevant certifications in Commvault or related technologies are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent field
