About Gajab
GAJAB is building India's first bargaining-first marketplace where buyers don't just shop, they negotiate. We believe commerce should be engaging, social, and rewarding.
Our vision is to build a community-powered marketplace where buyers, sellers, affiliates, and campus ambassadors drive growth through trust, relationships, and word of mouth, not just paid marketing.
We're looking for a Community Growth Lead to build this growth engine from the ground up.
About the Role
As the Community Growth Lead, you'll own GAJAB's community-led growth strategy and execution.
You'll build and scale our ecosystem of campus ambassadors, affiliates, local communities, creators, and strategic partners while running rapid growth experiments to discover scalable acquisition channels.
This is a highly execution-focused role. You'll spend significant time meeting people, understanding market realities, launching initiatives, and building repeatable systems that drive sustainable growth. If you're someone who enjoys talking to people, spotting opportunities, creating systems, and making things happen, we'd love to meet you.

Examples include:

- Referral campaigns
- Community activation initiatives
- Offline marketing events
- Merchant acquisition campaigns
- WhatsApp community growth
- User activation and reactivation campaigns
Measure outcomes, learn quickly, scale successful initiatives, and discontinue what doesn't work.
5. User Insights & Feedback
Stay close to users and partners.
Regularly interact with buyers, sellers, and community members to understand:
- Buying behaviour
- Negotiation patterns
- User objections
- Seller concerns
- Product adoption barriers
- Community engagement drivers
Translate these insights into actionable recommendations for Product, Design, Operations, and Marketing teams.
6. Team Leadership
Lead a lean execution team of approximately 5 members across growth, community, and operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Weekly planning
- Goal setting
- Experiment reviews
- Execution quality
- SOP creation
- Performance tracking
- Team coaching and accountability
Build a culture of ownership, speed, and continuous improvement.
