Job details:
At GT School, community is not a peripheral effort. It is the primary growth mechanism.
Our network of parents represents our strongest competitive moat. When families experience genuine connection, recognition, and investment, they persist longer, refer more readily, and champion more vocally. We seek a proactive builder capable of converting a group of enrolled families into a thriving, self-reinforcing ecosystem.
This position requires you to engineer the frameworks that elevate parents from consumers to partners. You will establish the infrastructure, ceremonies, and response mechanisms that fuel retention and referral activity. You will not be facilitating shallow interactions. You will be constructing authentic community.
If you conceptualize in feedback loops, quantify engagement, and recognize that community should directly influence growth outcomes, this role provides control over one of the school's most strategic resources.
What You Will Be Doing
- Building engagement frameworks that elevate parents from passive participants to active collaborators
- Pinpointing highly satisfied families and enabling them to serve as organized referral champions
- Tracking community vitality on a daily basis and addressing at-risk families proactively
- Converting parent feedback into weekly strategic summaries that guide leadership choices
- Synchronizing academic achievements with deliberate community touchpoints that amplify perceived value
- Addressing parent inquiries with precision, warmth, and responsiveness across digital platforms
- Developing and sustaining accessible, high-value parent-facing materials and informational content
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Overseeing superficial social media activity or pursuing empty engagement indicators
- Distributing one-directional announcements without fostering genuine conversation
- Functioning as a reactive support desk or request processor
- Reciting scripted language or depending on standardized reply templates
- Diagnosing technical issues or serving as platform technical support
Community Program Manager Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a parent community infrastructure that produces quantifiable retention, advocacy, and organic enrollment expansion.
Basic Requirements
- Documented experience designing and operating community, customer success, or multi-party engagement programs
- Solid program management capabilities with experience executing comprehensive initiatives
- Confirmed ability to defuse delicate parent situations while capturing useful feedback
- Competence with data and experience applying CRMs and engagement analytics to measure outcomes
- Superior writing ability with a direct, compelling, authentic voice
- At least 1 year operating digital communication channels such as email, chat, or helpdesk platforms
- Demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple simultaneous priorities using organized tracking methods
- Confident working remotely and engaging asynchronously
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience developing community or customer advocacy initiatives in a fast-scaling startup
- Background in education or independent school settings
- Proficiency with digital community tools such as Slack, WhatsApp Business, Circle, or comparable platforms
