Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Community Outreach Manager located in Mysore. The role involves planning, implementing, and managing outreach initiatives to strengthen connections with communities, fostering engagement with stakeholders, and building lasting relationships. Responsibilities include developing and executing outreach programs, organizing community events, managing projects, and supporting communication efforts to promote the organization’s mission and services.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Community Engagement and Community Outreach to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse groups.
- Experience in Program Management and Project Management to effectively plan, execute, and oversee outreach initiatives.
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey messages effectively and create impactful outreach materials.
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead projects while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple projects and logistics simultaneously.
- Background in education, non-profit, or related sectors is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
