Role Description
The Community Mobilizer is a full-time, on-site role located in Bhubaneswar. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with various community stakeholders, engaging with local and academic communities, managing communications, and organizing initiatives to drive participation and visibility. The role will require outreach to students, institutions, and local organizations to foster active engagement. Additionally, the Community Mobilizer will act as a bridge to ensure alignment between community needs and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships
- Proficiency in community engagement and management
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in customer service with a focus on addressing community needs
- Ability to manage and execute community initiatives effectively
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work in an on-site team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communications, or related fields is preferred
- Experience in community development or campus recruitment will be an advantage
