Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Community Mobilizer in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will be responsible for fostering relationships with individuals with disabilities, building and nurturing a robust community, and ensuring their engagement with the platform. We are looking for a dynamic and driven Mobilizer to build strong grassroots connections across South India and enable inclusive hiring. The role involves identifying, engaging, and mobilizing candidates (especially Persons with Disabilities) for training and placement opportunities.

Model: Work from Office (Extensive travel involved); 5 day working policy
Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Sourcing
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, NGOs, vocational training centers, and labor offices
- Identify and mobilize candidates for training and employment programs
- Conduct on-ground outreach activities, awareness sessions, and community engagement
Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with local organizations and institutions to create talent pipelines
- Leverage existing networks and build new partnerships across regions
Candidate Counseling & Support
- Counsel candidates and families on career opportunities and program benefits
- Assess candidate readiness and guide them through the training-to-placement journey
- Ensure strong candidate engagement and retention throughout the process
Field Operations
- Travel extensively across South India to drive mobilization efforts
- Track outreach activities, maintain data, and share regular updates
Key Requirements
- 2-4 years of mobilization experience within the disability sector or in social impact
- Strong understanding of the South India job market and ecosystem
- Fluency in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and English
- Strong people skills and with the ability to navigate diverse communities and stakeholders
- Proven experience in community outreach, mobilization, or grassroots engagement
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel frequently and work independently in the field
- Excellent communication and counseling abilities
- Background in recruitment, skilling, NGO partnerships, or field coordination is an added advantage
- Indian Sign Language (ISL) proficiency is a strong plus
