Company Description CampusUnite is an independent, student-led platform that connects learners across colleges through collaboration, innovation, and shared opportunities. Founded by Mayank Prabhakar, the platform helps students discover AI and tech events, hackathons, workshops, quizzes, and leadership programs while meeting like-minded peers from different campuses. CampusUnite’s mission is to make it easier for students to learn, grow, and access meaningful opportunities through a single, unified platform. As the community expands, CampusUnite will introduce campus ambassador programs, cross-college collaborations, internships, brand campaigns, and student-focused initiatives that benefit both students and organizations. Whether someone wants to expand their network, join events, find hackathon teammates, or explore new opportunities, CampusUnite is designed to support growth beyond a single campus.
Role Description The Community Member role at CampusUnite is a full-time, remote position focused on actively engaging with the student community across multiple colleges. In this role, the Community Member will participate in online discussions, share relevant opportunities, and help peers discover events such as hackathons, workshops, and leadership programs. They will support community initiatives by promoting activities within their networks, collecting feedback from participants, and suggesting ideas to improve engagement and collaboration on the platform. Day-to-day tasks include joining virtual meetups, contributing to community channels, helping match students with teams or opportunities, and assisting with the rollout of new programs like campus ambassador initiatives and cross-college projects. The Community Member will also collaborate with the CampusUnite team to maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment and ensure that communication across the community remains clear and organized.
