Responsibilities
Provides ongoing surveillance of the Dialysis machines, water system, and unit supplies. Participates in patient care under the direction of the R.N.
Qualifications
Education
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• Two years of college with course work in science, medical electronics, or health science preferred
Experience
• 1 year of medical experience, CNA, EMT, Phlebotomy or equivalent required
Licenses and Certifications
• CAHT - State of California Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• CCHT - Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician preferred
