We are looking for a Sports Community Manager who can build and scale highly active sports communities on StapuBox, not just manage them.
This role is about creating engagement, driving participation, and building strong player networks across squads, while ensuring users continuously see value in the platform.
What You'll Own
- Build and grow active player squads across cities, corporates, and communities
- Drive engagement loops through content, conversations, and consistent nudges
- Activate players to discover, join, and participate in games regularly
- Identify and onboard city sports champions to lead and grow local communities
- Manage communication channels (WhatsApp, platform, etc.) to ensure high activity
- Design and experiment with engagement formats (leagues, challenges, recurring games)
- Work closely with corporates to drive employee participation through sports
- Track and improve participation, engagement, and retention metrics
- Handle player queries, feedback, and friction points proactively

You Should Be
Passionate about sports and community building
Strong in communication, engagement, and relationship building
High ownership mindset - you drive outcomes, not just activities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Able to manage multiple squads, conversations, and stakeholders simultaneously
Comfortable working on weekends (this is when most engagement happens)
Highly proactive - you don’t wait for instructions, you create momentum
We would prefer that you have
Experience in community building, growth, operations, or events
Understanding of engagement and retention metrics
Experience working with corporates, HRs, or partnerships is a plus
Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, CRM tools, or communication platforms
Background in sports or active participation in sports communities
