Role Description The Community Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Mangalam Business Centre in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive experience within the business centre, and fostering a collaborative community among resident companies. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing client onboarding, coordinating office and meeting room usage, managing community events and networking activities, and addressing client inquiries or issues promptly. The Community Manager will work closely with facilities, housekeeping, IT support, and administrative teams to ensure smooth operations and a professional environment. The role also involves gathering client feedback, supporting marketing or outreach initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement of services and community engagement.
Qualifications
- Client relationship and community management skills, including the ability to engage with diverse business clients and foster a collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Organizational and coordination abilities to manage multiple client requests, events, and operational activities efficiently.
- Basic understanding of office operations, facilities management, and IT support workflows to liaise effectively with internal service teams.
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to handle issues calmly and professionally.
- Proficiency in common office software (e.g., MS Office, email, scheduling tools) and comfort working with digital systems for bookings and reporting.
- Prior experience in coworking spaces, serviced offices, hospitality, or customer service-oriented roles is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Bengaluru, with a professional demeanor and commitment to maintaining a high-quality corporate environment.
