Assistant Manager – Marketing & Community
Location: Bangalore

We are looking for a young, energetic, and trend-aware Marketing professional who understands urban audiences, digital culture, and community engagement. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building brand presence, driving footfall through creative marketing initiatives, and cultivating strong local communities around the LocoBear brand.
This role plays a critical part in shaping how LocoBear is perceived in the market and in driving day-to-day engagement and revenue through marketing and community initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Brand Execution
- Execute marketing campaigns across the assigned region and ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
- Support regional leadership in implementing Local Store Marketing (LSM) initiatives to drive walk-ins, bookings, and repeat customers.
- Assist in the planning and execution of new activity launches, events, and seasonal campaigns.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies for design, PR, digital marketing, influencer campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Manage vendors and partners for production, printing, photography, video shoots, branding materials, and promotional assets.
- Ensure all marketing activities are delivered on time and within approved budgets.
- Compile and submit monthly marketing activity reports, including campaign performance, footfall impact, and engagement metrics.
2. Digital Presence & Online Platforms
- Own and manage the digital presence of the outlets across all relevant platforms including:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- Google Business
- Zomato / Swiggy / Dineout
- Other listing and event platforms.
- Ensure all store information, menus, offers, and experiences are updated regularly.
- Monitor customer reviews and ratings, coordinate with operations teams to resolve customer feedback or platform-related issues promptly.
- Work with the digital marketing team to improve online engagement and brand visibility.
3. Community Building & Engagement
- Identify and collaborate with local communities, clubs, and groups such as:
- Sports communities
- Gaming groups
- College clubs
- Art & creative collectives
- Fitness groups
- Music & performance communities.
- Build long-term partnerships with these communities to drive consistent engagement with our venues.
- Represent as the primary point of contact for community partners in the region.
- Curate and execute community-driven events, tournaments, and experiences that align with the brand identity.
4. Events & Experiences
- Plan and execute hyper-local events and experiences across venues including:
- Gaming tournaments
- Sports events
- College nights
- Live entertainment
- Community meetups
- Influencer activations.
- Ensure events are aligned with business objectives such as footfall growth, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
- Analyse event performance and derive insights for future initiatives.
5. Community Programs
- Manage collaborative spaces, memberships, or community engagement zones within our venues.
- Drive member acquisition, retention, and engagement through curated programs and networking events.
- Ensure daily maintenance, experience quality, and community interaction within these spaces.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of consumer trends, youth culture, and digital platforms
- Experience in local marketing, events, and community engagement
- Strong vendor management and coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Data-driven approach to campaign and event performance analysis
Preferred Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Marketing, Brand Management, Events, or Community Building
- Experience in hospitality, entertainment, lifestyle, or consumer brands preferred
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and social media analytics
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
