Role Description The Community Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for shaping and nurturing the local community around CurioBoat’s neighborhood activity centers. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves planning and executing events and activities, engaging directly with visitors and members, and building relationships with local partners and stakeholders. The Community Manager will manage communications across channels, gather feedback from participants, and ensure that each activity center remains vibrant, inclusive, and well-organized. The role includes coordinating logistics, maintaining a welcoming environment, and collaborating with internal teams to promote programs and improve the overall community experience.
Qualifications
- Strong community engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with diverse groups and foster an inclusive environment.
- Experience in event planning, on-site coordination, and basic operations management for community spaces or similar environments.
- Solid communication skills, including clear spoken and written English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Basic marketing and social media skills to promote events, share updates, and grow community participation.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to handling on-ground issues.
- Comfort working on-site in New Delhi, including occasional evenings or weekends for events, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Relevant education in community development, hospitality, communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in community management, event management, or customer-facing roles is beneficial.
