Role Description
We are looking for a Community Growth Manager who can help us build awareness, trust, and user growth through content and community engagement.
This is not a typical content writing role — it’s a growth-focused position where your work will directly impact user acquisition and brand building.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build and manage Barkat’s presence across community platforms like Reddit, Quora, and relevant forums
- Create and engage in meaningful discussions around Muslim marriage, relationships, and student life (without spam or direct promotion)
- Research and identify trending topics, questions, and user pain points in the Muslim community
- Write 2–3 SEO-focused blog articles per week for Barkat’s website.
- Maintain a consistent and authentic brand voice aligned with the Muslim community.
- Share weekly reports with key learnings, performance insights, and new ideas for growth.
- Collaborate on experiments to improve user acquisition and community trust
Qualifications
- Strong writing and communication skills in English (clear, thoughtful, and engaging).
- Good understanding of Muslim marriage culture, values, and sensitivities.
- Familiarity with platforms like Reddit, Quora, and Instagram
- Ability to research topics and convert insights into high-quality content.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
- Creative thinker with a growth mindset (not just content posting, but impact-driven)
- Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing is a plus
- Prior experience in content writing, blogging, or community engagement is preferred (not mandatory)
- Preferably who understand islamic culture.
