Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Community Associate, located in Gurugram, India. The Community Associate will engage with the Travel Buddy community to provide excellent support, foster connections among users, and ensure a positive and inclusive user experience. Key responsibilities include managing community interactions, addressing member inquiries, handling case management, and assisting with community health initiatives and user satisfaction efforts.
What You'll Do:
🔹 Build & Nurture the Travel Buddy Community
• Engage actively with users across platforms (WhatsApp, social media, app, etc.)
• Build strong relationships with travelers, creators, and power users
• Respond to queries, feedback, and conversations to create a positive community experience
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and interactive community environment
🔹 Drive User Engagement & Interaction
• Plan and execute engaging activities (discussions, challenges, polls, travel threads)
• Encourage meaningful conversations and peer-to-peer interactions
• Create initiatives to keep users active and coming back regularly
• Identify inactive users and run re-engagement efforts
🔹 Content & Community Initiatives
• Collaborate with users to generate authentic travel content (stories, reviews, tips)
• Support creation of community-driven content across social platforms
• Work with creators/influencers to boost engagement and participation
• Highlight user stories and experiences to build trust and relatability
🔹 Strengthen Brand Love & Loyalty
• Build initiatives that make Travel Buddy a trusted travel community
• Encourage user-generated content and word-of-mouth growth
• Create campaigns that increase emotional connection with the brand
• Act as the voice of the community within internal teams
🔹 Collaborate & Improve User Experience
• Work closely with product, marketing, and support teams
• Share user feedback and insights to improve the platform
• Identify gaps in user experience and suggest improvements
• Help shape features that enhance community engagement
Who You Are:
• 0–2 years of experience in Community Management / Social Media / Startups
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable engaging with users on WhatsApp, Instagram, and other platforms
• Creative thinker with a passion for travel and storytelling
• Empathetic, proactive, and people-first mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
