Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Associate/Team Lead, Communications to help plan, coordinate, and execute Nayi Disha’s communications initiatives across digital platforms.
The role will focus on content and campaign management, digital communications, stakeholder engagement, and strengthening brand visibility and audience engagement. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, storyteller, and project manager who can collaborate across teams and drive high-quality, timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
● Brand & Communications Strategy:
o Support the development and execution of the organization’s communications strategy, ensuring that all communications reflect the Nayi Disha’s mission and objectives.
o Collaborate with program teams to create compelling stories and narratives that highlight the impact of our work.
● Content Development & Management:
o Generate and edit high-quality multi-media content, including social media posts, impact and annual reports, PPTs, newsletters, and other marketing and communication materials.
o Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant communication across channels.
● Social Media & Digital Strategy:
o Oversee the NGO’s digital presence, including website updates, social media platforms, and email marketing.
o Implement and track digital campaigns to drive engagement and growth across key platforms.
o Use data and analytics to optimize content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
● Stakeholder and community engagement:
o Work with cross teams to source stories, data, and inputs and align messaging across programs and initiatives
o Generate leads and relationships with influencers, bloggers, and key stakeholders to strengthen digital advocacy and outreach.

Desired Skills
Strong understanding of digital and social media trends
Content marketing and campaign management
Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics
Working knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Adobe, or related design tools
Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
3–4 years of experience in communications, preferably in the NGO/social impact sector
Experience managing digital communications and multi-format content
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Self-driven with the ability to manage deadlines independently
