The Barabari Collective is a Social Impact Organization that exists to build universal access to Economic Mobility for Graduates from Underserved Communities in India. We are supported by The Circle India, Nudge Institute, NSRCEL IIM B, SVP India, ACT Grants, and UnLtd India.
In this pursuit, we are working in Partnership with the Telangana Government to build Future of Work Readiness in Government Degree Colleges across the Hyderabad, aiming to create high-growth careers for 500+ graduates from low-income communities.
We’re hiring for an Communications Associate role at The Barabari Collective.
What you’ll do:
- Coordinate end-to-end interview and placement processes for students
- Manage communication with candidates, hiring partners, mentors, and NGO stakeholders
- Drive outreach to hiring partners through LinkedIn and cold emails
- Join calls with HRs, hiring managers, and partner organizations to present our work
- Track placement data, feedback, and improve operational processes continuously
- Design communication assets, posters, updates, and basic creatives using Canva
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A strong communicator with excellent coordination skills
- Ownership-driven and proactive in following up with stakeholders
- Comfortable with outreach and professional communication
- Detail-oriented and organized in managing multiple workflows
- Skilled in Canva and able to create clean communication materials
- Aligned with our mission and excited to work in the education/social impact space

We’re looking for someone who is:
Ownership-driven, a strong communicator, comfortable with outreach, detail-oriented, and has basic Canva/design skills, aligned with our mission.
Role Type: This role begins as a 3-month probation. Upon successful completion of this probationary period, we intend to transition high-performing candidates into a Full-Time position.
