The Communication and Outreach Associate will lead the development and execution of strategic communication initiatives. This role is responsible for creating engaging content across Social Media platforms, managing media relations, coordinating outreach programs and facilitating stakeholder engagement to promote the Instituteโs work, services and events. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in public relations, digital communication, and community engagement.

โข Develop and implement comprehensive communication and outreach strategies.
โข Create high-quality content for press releases, social media, newsletters, brochures and websites.
โข Manage relationships with media representatives, respond to inquiries and coordinate press events.
โข Plan and support public engagement activities, including community outreach, stakeholder consultations and promotional events.
โข Monitor media coverage and prepare reports analysing communication effectiveness.
โข Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and ensure consistent messaging across channels.
โข Support crisis communication efforts and keep the Instituteโs positive public image.
โข Manage social media platforms and digital campaigns to broaden audience reach.
โข Track industry trends and competitor communications to recommend improvements.

โข Bachelorโs degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
โข Minimum one years of professional experience in communications or public relations.
โข Proven ability to develop and execute communication plans and digital campaigns.
โข Proficiency in social media management, content creation tools, and media monitoring.
โข Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
โข Experience organising events and managing public consultations.
โข Graphic design and multimedia production skills.
