Vacancy: Communication Intern
Location: New Delhi, India (Hybrid)
Duration: 3 months
Type: Remote ( Paid Internship - INR 10,000 per month )
About the Role:
SFLC.in is looking for a proactive and creative Communication Intern to support our outreach, content, and engagement efforts. This role is ideal for someone interested in digital rights, public policy, and storytelling for impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and scheduling social media content across platforms.
- Support the creation of engaging content, including posts, captions, blogs, newsletters, and campaign materials.
- Help manage and grow SFLC.in’s online presence through consistent and strategic communication.
- Assist in developing outreach strategies for ongoing projects and campaigns.
- Maintain and update media and stakeholder contact databases.
- Support coordination for events, webinars, and public campaigns (including logistics and communication).
- Track engagement metrics and assist in preparing basic reports on communication performance.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across projects.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, Public Policy, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in English
- Understanding of social media platforms and digital communication strategies.
- Interest in technology policy, digital rights, or free speech issues.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with tools such as LibreOffice, Canva, and similar platforms is a plus.
