NavSahyog Foundation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communication & Fundraising Lead to join our team and play a vital role in supporting fundraising and communication activities.
About NavSahyog Foundation:
We at NavSahyog Foundation focus on impacting learning outcomes for village children in the age group of 5 to 14 years. We do so by developing life skills and creativity in children through sports, storytelling, experiential learning, and creative activities conducted daily across our 308 villages in Tamil Nadu, Nagaland and Karnataka. NavSahyog Foundation is a registered non-profit with 80G & 12A certifications.
The Role:
The Communication & Fundraising Lead will be a strategic storyteller, responsible for crafting a compelling brand narrative and managing NavSahyog Foundation's online presence. You will develop content that resonates with our audience, elevates brand awareness, and supports fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
● Brand Management:
○ Develop and maintain a strong brand identity for NavSahyog Foundation across all communication channels.
○ Ensure consistent messaging and branding according to established guidelines.
● Content Creation:
○ Create engaging content (text, images, videos) for various platforms, including the website, social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Youtube etc.), and newsletters.
○ Highlight the impact of NavSahyog Foundation's programs through compelling storytelling.
○ Collaborate with other team members to develop content for special projects.
● Social Media Management:
○ Manage and maintain NavSahyog Foundation's social media channels, developing and implementing a strategy to increase engagement and reach.
○ Monitor social media analytics to measure the impact of campaigns.
● Website Management:
○ Update and maintain the NavSahyog Foundation website, ensuring user-friendliness and informative content.
○ Optimize the website for search engines to improve visibility.
● Marketing and Fundraising Support:
○ Develop and implement marketing campaigns to support fundraising initiatives.
○ Collaborate with the leadership to create content that resonates with potential donors.
○ Create proposals and reports based on donor requirements.
● Communication and Collaboration:
○ Track communication and review it for various stakeholders as agreed upon.
○ Work closely with other team members to ensure cohesive communication efforts.
○ Uphold the values of NavSahyog Foundation at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile:
● Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
● Minimum 1 year of experience in grant writing, content creation, social media management, or a similar role.
● Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
● Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools (Canva, KineMaster, Adobe
WordPress etc.)
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Passion for social impact and a commitment to NavSahyog Foundation's mission.
● Fluency in English and Kannada/Tamil is a must. Knowledge of Tamil and Kannada is an added
advantage.
● Ability to travel to villages as required.
