Role Description
IIHM is seeking a dedicated Communication English Faculty to join its on-site team at the New Delhi campus. This is a full-time role requiring the teaching of English communication and literature to students pursuing hospitality management. Daily responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging lessons, developing and revising curriculum, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The role also involves providing mentorship, preparing students for international communication standards, and collaborating with academic staff to ensure a holistic educational experience.
Job Description:
- Should be able to plan, schedule, organise, coordinate and monitor lectures & practicals
- Should be able to prepare course material & activities
- Should be able to prepare students on interview skills and Personality development
Education : BSc/BA in English Language or English Literature; MSc is a plus
Qualifications
- Expertise in English Teaching and Teaching methodologies to effectively instruct students
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development to innovate and improve learning materials
- Understanding of English Literature and general Literature to provide diverse educational content
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and mentor students
- A postgraduate degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field
- Experience in teaching or training, preferably in higher education or hospitality-related domains
- Ability to inspire and instill confidence in students for global communication and cultural engagement
- Familiarity with international education systems and hospitality industry standards is a plus
Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in English Subject.
