Job Description
Team Pumpkin is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Communication Designer to join our growing creative team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, branding, and digital communication, along with the ability to translate ideas into engaging visual experiences across platforms. Proficiency in AI-powered creative tools and modern design practices will be an added advantage.
You will collaborate closely with creative strategists, copywriters, marketers, and clients to create impactful designs that strengthen brand identity and drive audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Visual Communication & Design
- Design visually compelling creatives for social media, digital campaigns, websites, emailers, presentations, and advertisements.
- Develop creative assets that effectively communicate brand messaging and campaign objectives.
- Create engaging visual narratives that resonate with target audiences across multiple digital platforms.
Creative Concept Development
- Collaborate with internal teams to brainstorm and execute innovative campaign ideas and communication concepts.
- Translate marketing strategies and briefs into strong visual communication solutions.
AI-Enhanced Creativity
- Utilize AI-powered design tools and generative AI platforms for creative ideation, visual generation, layout exploration, and workflow optimization.
- Experiment with emerging AI design technologies to enhance creativity and productivity.
Branding & Consistency
- Ensure all creative outputs maintain consistency with brand guidelines, tone, and visual identity.
- Adapt brand communication styles across various formats and audiences while maintaining coherence.
Layout & Storytelling
- Create layouts and visual systems that improve readability, engagement, and user experience.
- Develop communication materials that balance aesthetics with functionality and clarity.
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with copywriters, marketers, and project managers to deliver cohesive campaigns.
- Incorporate feedback effectively to refine designs and improve final outputs.
Trend Awareness
- Stay updated on communication design trends, digital content formats, AI tools, and emerging creative practices.
- Continuously explore innovative approaches to storytelling and visual engagement.
Project Management
- Handle multiple design projects simultaneously while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing branding, campaign creatives, and digital communication work.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.).
- Familiarity with Figma, Canva, and AI-powered creative tools.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and visual hierarchy.
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and video editing is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
