As a Commodity Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for...
Strategic Sourcing & Commodity Management:
- Developing and implementing india sourcing strategies aligned with business goals, market dynamics, and global category direction.
- Conducting market analysis, identifying cost drivers, evaluating risks, and proposing mitigation actions.
- Identifying, evaluating and qualifying suppliers that meet company requirements in quality, service, cost, sustainability and innovation.
Supplier Management & Negotiation:
- Negotiating and managing supply agreements to ensure optimal total cost of ownership and long term value creation.
- Leading supplier performance reviews and drive improvement in quality, delivery, cost and service.
- Building strong, transparent and collaborative relationships with new and existing suppliers.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Working closely with Manufacturing, Quality, EHS and Operations teams to ensure sourcing strategies align with technical and operational needs.
- Supporting engineering changes, new product introductions and supply transitions.
- Partnering with Sustainability teams to develop and implement environmentally responsible sourcing solutions.
Process, Governance & Continuous Improvement:
- Improving sourcing processes, governance and data accuracy across the region.
- Supporting digital tools and dashboards that enhance market intelligence, supplier insights and performance tracking.
- Identifying and executing continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across sourcing and procurement.
What you already have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience.
- Willingness to travel within the India
