About the Role
We are looking for a commercially curious and detail-oriented Commodity Research & Market Intelligence Associate to support research and market activities across Asia and international commodity markets.
This role is suited to someone interested in global trade, commodities, sourcing, supply chains, and international business. You will support commodity research, supplier and company analysis, market monitoring, and wider business development activities across regional and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct commodity and market research across Asia and international markets
- Assist with supplier, company, and industry analysis
- Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and sourcing activity
- Support business development and commercial research initiatives
- Organise and maintain research data and market intelligence
- Identify emerging sourcing and trade opportunities
- Assist with reporting and operational coordination activities
- Support LinkedIn and business visibility activities where required
Requirements
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, Google Sheets, and online research tools
- Interest in commodities, sourcing, international trade, or market intelligence
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in research, analytics, sourcing, operations, or business support is beneficial but not essential
