Role Description The Commis-II/III (Asian/Chinese) role is a full-time, on-site position based at Park Inn by Radisson Bilaspur Gurgaon in Manesar. The team member supports the kitchen in preparing and cooking Asian and Chinese cuisine, following standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines. Daily responsibilities include assisting in mise en place, handling food preparation for designated sections, and ensuring dishes are produced efficiently during service. The role involves maintaining high hygiene and safety standards, proper storage and labeling of ingredients, and adherence to hotel and brand policies. The Commis-II/III collaborates with chefs and other kitchen staff, supports inventory and stock rotation, and contributes to menu innovation and quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong food preparation and cooking skills, with a focus on Asian and Chinese culinary techniques.
- Candidates should possess solid culinary skills, including knife skills, knowledge of ingredients, and basic understanding of kitchen operations.
- Candidates should possess a thorough understanding of hygiene and food safety standards, including proper sanitation and handling procedures.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen and service teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Formal culinary education or a diploma in hotel management or culinary arts is preferred.
- Prior experience as Commis or in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant environment, especially in Asian/Chinese cuisine, is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and to perform in high-volume service periods.
- Strong teamwork, time management, and attention to detail, with willingness to learn and follow brand standards.
