Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commis I specializing in South Indian cuisine. Based in Kochi, the role involves preparing and cooking dishes to high standards, ensuring kitchen hygiene, and adhering to culinary best practices. The Commis I will collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain quality and consistency in food preparation while supporting seamless kitchen operations. The individual will assist in food storage, ingredient preparation, plating, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Food Preparation and Cooking, with a focus on South Indian cuisine
- Strong Culinary Skills, including knowledge of traditional recipes and food presentation
- Commitment to Hygiene and maintaining clean and safe working practices
- Effective Communication skills for teamwork and collaboration
- Relevant certifications or diploma in culinary arts is preferred
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in Indian or South Indian kitchens, is an advantage
