Kuro is a coffee-first café being built with a strong focus on product, design, and everyday experience.
Alongside the coffee program, we’re building a tight, highly executable food menu of sandwiches, toasts, bakery, and desserts, designed for speed, consistency, and quality, without a heavy kitchen setup.
We’re looking for someone to own day-to-day food prep and service execution.
Role Overview
You will handle prep, assembly, and service for all food items, ensuring quick turnaround, consistency, and clean execution during both regular and peak hours. This is a process-driven, assembly-focused role, not a chef position.
Key Responsibilities
Food Prep & Assembly
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, toasts, and café items
- Follow defined recipes, portions, and plating standards
- Maintain fast service during peak hours
Daily Prep
- Prepare spreads, fillings, and portioned ingredients
- Keep prep stations organized and service-ready
- Ensure proper storage and labeling
Service Execution
- Coordinate with the coffee bar during rush periods
- Manage order flow and prioritize efficiently
- Maintain consistency across all orders
Inventory & Hygiene
- Track ingredient usage and manage basic stock levels
- Follow FIFO and minimize wastage
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen at all times
Process Adherence
- Follow SOPs for prep and service
- Help improve speed and workflow where possible
Who This Role Is For
- 1-4 years experience in café / QSR / bakery setups
- Comfortable with sandwich prep and fast-paced service
- Clean, organized, and detail-oriented
- Able to work in a small team and own their station
Compensation
INR 20K-23K per month (based on experience)
