Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commis Chef located in Bengaluru. We are looking for passionate and skilled Commis Chefs to join our kitchen team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes according to our standard recipes while maintaining high standards of hygiene and kitchen discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes as per standard recipes and portion sizes.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all orders.
- Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and personal hygiene at all times.
- Follow all food safety protocols (FSSAI standards) and SOPs.
- Maintain proper storage, labelling, and temperature control of food items.
- Handle ingredients responsibly and use them efficiently to minimize wastage.
- Report shortages or quality issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and dispatch of orders.
- Follow kitchen SOPs and operational guidelines strictly.
