Job Title: Commis Chef (Indian)

Job Summary:
The Commis Chef will assist in the preparation and cooking of food as per the standards of Naad Wellness. The role requires maintaining high levels of hygiene, food quality, and consistency while supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in preparation and cooking of dishes as per menu and instructions from senior chefs.
· Ensure all food is prepared with quality ingredients and presented attractively.
· Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines.
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen as per FSSAI and hotel standards.
· Ensure proper storage of food items and follow FIFO (First In First Out).
· Assist in daily mise-en-place and food prep activities.
· Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
· Report any kitchen maintenance or safety issues to the senior chef.
· Support in inventory checking and stock control.
· Work in coordination with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements / Skills:
· Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine / Tandoor operations.
· Minimum 2 year to 3 years of experience in a hotel / restaurant / wellness kitchen.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
· Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
· Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualification:
· Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts (preferred but not mandatory).
