Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Commis Chef at Kenilworth Resort & Spa in Salcette, South Goa. The primary responsibilities include assisting in food preparation, cooking, and plating dishes as per quality standards. The role involves maintaining kitchen hygiene, adhering to safety protocols, ensuring optimal food storage practices, and collaborating with the culinary team to deliver high-quality dining experiences. The Commis Chef will also assist in managing inventory and ensuring the smooth functioning of kitchen operations under the guidance of senior chefs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Cooking, Food Preparation, and Culinary Skills
- Strong focus on Hygiene standards and adherence to food safety protocols
- Effective Communication skills to collaborate with the kitchen and service teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and follow instructions with precision
- Formal culinary training or diploma in culinary arts is an advantage
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality industry is preferred
