Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Commis 1/Demi Chef de Partie based in Ahmedabad. The role involves assisting in food preparation and cooking, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following recipes and food presentation guidelines, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Additionally, the individual will assist senior chefs in executing a diverse menu while maintaining high-quality standards and supporting kitchen operations efficiently during busy service hours.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques, basic cooking skills, and knife handling skills
- Ability to follow recipes, portion control, and maintain consistency in food presentation
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen sanitation standards
- Time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
