Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. As a Commie, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, assisting chefs with food preparation, maintaining workstations, and ensuring high standards of food hygiene and kitchen organization. You will participate in cooking, plating, and assembling dishes according to restaurant standards while ensuring quality control. Additionally, you will help with inventory management and support team efforts during service to deliver a superior dining experience for our guests.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and understanding of cooking processes
- Strong attention to detail, hygiene practices, and adherence to food safety regulations
- Ability to follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating expectations accurately
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude and the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality
- Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary training is a plus but not mandatory
- Passion for Japanese cuisine and an interest in mastering ramen preparation techniques
