Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Commi role based in Bengaluru South. The Commi will support the kitchen team in daily food preparation, cooking, and plating in accordance with established recipes and brand standards. Responsibilities include assisting with mise en place, operating basic kitchen equipment, and ensuring timely service during peak cinema hours. The role involves maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety, following cleaning schedules, and adhering to health and safety regulations. The Commi will also coordinate with team members and supervisors, communicate effectively during service, and contribute to a positive guest experience through consistent quality and presentation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Food Preparation and Cooking abilities.
- Candidates should possess solid Culinary Skills and understanding of basic kitchen operations.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Hygiene standards and food safety practices.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for working with kitchen and service teams.
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen, restaurant, or hospitality environment is beneficial.
- Formal culinary training or certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by cinema operations.
- Strong teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to learn and follow standard operating procedures.
