Job Title: Commercial Operations Executive – EPC Projects
Experience: 1–4 Years
Location: Bangalore
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Commercial Operations Executive to manage and streamline end-to-end commercial activities across procurement, logistics, inventory, and project coordination.
This role is designed to go beyond traditional procurement, focusing on commercial control, material planning, supply chain efficiency, and operational support for EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial & Procurement Management
Execute end-to-end procurement processes – RFQs, vendor evaluation, negotiation, and order placement
Prepare and manage Purchase Orders (POs), Work Orders (WOs), and agreements
Conduct techno-commercial comparisons and cost evaluations
Support tendering, quotation analysis, and vendor selection
Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination
Plan and coordinate material movement across multiple project sites
Track deliveries and ensure timely availability of materials
Resolve logistics issues and coordinate with vendors, transporters, and site teams
Inventory & Stores Operations
Oversee store activities – material receipt (GRN), storage, issuance, and reconciliation
Maintain optimum inventory levels and avoid shortages/excess
Ensure proper material tracking and documentation
Project Commercial Support
• Coordinate with Project Managers & Site Engineers for material planning and execution
• Monitor material consumption, budgets, and cost control
• Support billing inputs, documentation, and audit processes
• Ensure adherence to contractual, quality, and compliance requirements
Vendor & Market Management
• Build and maintain a strong vendor network in Bangalore
• Lead price negotiations and supplier finalization
• Identify alternate vendors to optimize cost and lead time
MIS & Reporting
Maintain accurate records using MS Excel / ERP systems
Generate reports on:
Procurement status
Inventory levels
Cost tracking
Vendor performance
Candidate Profile
Education- Diploma / Any Graduate (Engineering background is an advantage, not mandatory)
Experience in Procurement / Commercial Operations / Supply Chain / Stores
Exposure to:
EPC / Electrical / Construction projects (preferred)
Site-based or project-driven environments (added advantage)
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of electrical materials (preferred)
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, basic analysis)
Understanding of material planning and project timelines
Language & Communication
Kannada (preferred for local vendor coordination)
Good English communication skills

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong stakeholder and vendor management
Location Requirements
Familiarity with Bangalore vendor ecosystem
