KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
· Formulates airport marketing strategy and a range of subsidiary marketing campaigns including route development, marketing to commercial airlines and the travel trade, marketing business/corporate aviation, promotion press and media campaigns, outreach efforts; in consultation with Director Commercial .
· Leads in formulation of Commercial development strategies/ development of Commercial ventures such as aviation academy, MRO centers, hotels, restaurants, conference venues, meeting facilities, business centers, trade fairs, real estate, theme parks, amusement arcades and/or entertainment facilities, banks and exchanges and shopping malls in prevailing legislation/ SOPs/norms by MIDC/GOI/MoCA
· Participates in development and implementation of Master Plan, Airport capital improvement development/ up gradation plans to formulate marketing strategies.
· Leads in developing legislation, policies & directives governing the commercial development & use of airport real property & commercial properties of Airports to have uniform standards & formats for commercial agreements such as lease, licenses, consent to mortgage, assignment & sub lease of lease hold interest, & MOUs.
· Collaborates with Function Head- Maintenance to develop service contractual pricing arrangements such as cost-plus-incentive-fees or fixed-price-incentive-fees to share cost risk, or economic price adjustment clauses for adjusting labor and material costs where price can not be reasonably predicted at the time of negotiation.
· Prepares and submits response to Request for Qualification and Request for Proposal [i.e. Bids] in consultation with Director Commercial - Airports for new service contracts.
