Role Responsibilities
1. Working Drawings & Detailing (Core Responsibility)
• Prepare complete GFC (Good for Construction) drawing sets
• Develop detailed drawings for:
• Joinery & furniture
• Ceilings & partitions
• Flooring layouts
• Wall panelling & sections
• Ensure drawings are clear, coordinated, and site-executable
2. Design Development Support
• Assist in refining layouts and design concepts into practical solutions
• Ensure all designs are aligned with site conditions and services
• Suggest improvements to enhance buildability and cost efficiency
3. Material & Specification Coordination
• Recommend suitable materials, finishes, and hardware
• Ensure selections are available, durable, and within budget
• Prepare basic specifications for execution
4. MEP Coordination
• Coordinate with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing layouts
• Identify and resolve clashes in drawings before execution
• Ensure seamless integration of services with design
5. Site Coordination
• Visit sites periodically to support execution teams
• Resolve drawing-related issues and provide quick solutions
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and contractors
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with:
• Design team
• Estimation team
• Project management team
• Ensure smooth handover from design to execution
