Job Title: Director – Commercials, Contract Logistics
Location: Mumbai / Gurgaon
Reporting To: Managing Director
Experience: 20+ years in sales, with significant experience in contract logistics
Industry: Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehousing, 3PL
Job Overview:
Contract Logistics Business Development and Retention for the Country. Formulate & execute strategies for new business acquisition, profitable growth and retention of existing business, Product Development initiatives, Collaboration with HO / RHO on selling India and leading & supporting team for winning new business through value-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Growth Strategy – Strategize & Execute.
· Identify opportunities with market know-how/ meet new customers to broaden the opportunity list. Developing New Customers across Pan India.
· Support Business Development HOD and team for effective & improved new Business onboarding.
· Lead Customer Management team for retention and profitable growth of existing Customers.
· Lead Solution design team to constantly innovate value prepositions in our Solutions.
· Work with HO / RHO BD teams across verticals for exploring India business of Global Target Customers.
· Selling India and gain traction of HO/RHO BD fraternity for India.
· Collaborating with various Sales Channels in the organization and other Divisions for improving Growth Trajectory.
Education & Experience:
· 20+ years of experience in Contract Logistics industry with exposure to various vertical segments.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role in a reputed growth-oriented company.
· Experience on Customer/User side will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of the Product, effective negotiation skills, commercial acumen and market knowledge in Contract Logistics.
· Dynamic and result oriented.
· Ability to carry organization and connect with senior leadership of Customer to win “comfort”.
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
· Strong Analytical skills.
· Hands on with ability to conclude deals.
