Commercial Audit - Kenya Location
We are looking for an experienced professional with strong expertise in setting up and managing Shared Services / Outsourcing Centres or Global Capability Centres (GCCs). The ideal candidate should have 6–10 years of overall experience, with hands-on exposure to commercial audit operations and shared services management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup, transition, and management of a Shared Services / GCC environment
- Oversee day-to-day centre operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Manage staff recruitment, onboarding, appraisals, and team scheduling
- Liaise and coordinate with correspondent/global offices and stakeholders
- Implement and monitor quality control processes and operational standards
- Support process improvement initiatives across finance and audit functions
Required Experience & Skills:
- ACCA / CA qualified - Must
- 6–10 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working in a Shared Services / Outsourcing Centre environment
- At least 2 years of experience managing such a centre independently
- Strong grounding in Commercial Audit
- Experience in setting up or scaling a GCC / Shared Services Centre is highly preferred
- Exposure to shared services functions beyond audit, including:
- Payroll Processing
- Accounts Production
- Finance & Back-office Operations
- Strong people management, stakeholder management, and operational leadership skills
- Good understanding of quality control, process governance, and service delivery standards
