Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture for BigCommerce (Stencils / Headless / Catalyst)
- Define API strategy and middleware patterns
- Design checkout customizations and multi-store setups
- Own integrations with:
- ERP (SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)
- OMS
- PIM
- Payment gateways
- Loyalty systems
- Performance optimization and Core Web Vitals improvement
- Security, compliance, and PCI alignment
- Technical due diligence during vendor transition
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in ecommerce architecture
- 3+ years hands-on BigCommerce Enterprise
- Strong REST & GraphQL knowledge
- Node.js / React / Next.js
- Experience with enterprise retail (catalog >50k SKUs)
- Experience handling re-platforming or transition
