Farscape Global Consulting LLP is a Digital Commerce Specialist consultancy. We help Indian distributors and manufacturers — ₹20 Crore to ₹300 Crore in annual revenue — build profitable digital sales channels, fix underperforming ecommerce operations, and design new digital-native revenue streams.
We are not a technology company. We do not build websites or sell software licences. We are the commercial governance layer between a business owner's capital and the digital commerce infrastructure needed to grow revenue.
Our founder built India's largest B2B ecommerce platform at Redington Limited — scaling from zero to over $1.1 billion GMV in three years. Every service we offer is grounded in that operational reality, not theoretical frameworks.
We operate through a curated Expert Network of independent domain specialists. Farscape provides the brand, client relationships, governance framework, and quality assurance. Network consultants deliver domain expertise — and retain the majority of engagement revenue.
The Role
We are looking for seasoned digital commerce practitioners to join the Farscape Expert Network as Consulting Commerce Partners. This is not a salaried role. It is a structured advisory partnership — you bring your expertise, we bring the clients, the framework, and the brand accountability.
You will be matched to engagements aligned with your specific domain — pricing strategy, marketplace entry, dealer adoption, platform evaluation, catalogue architecture, or B2B digital marketing. You deliver the advisory work. Farscape governs engagement quality and the client relationship.
What You Will Do:
- Lead advisory engagements for Indian distributors and manufacturers across defined Starter (₹2L) and Main Course (₹10L–₹50L+) service tiers
- Diagnose digital commerce problems — pricing anarchy, credit leakage, poor dealer adoption, negative channel ROI — and design structured, actionable solutions
- Deliver consulting outputs: financial models, pricing logic frameworks, platform evaluation reports, catalogue architecture, dealer onboarding playbooks
- Advise on platform selection without vendor bias — open-source, licensed, or hybrid
- Bring clients from your own network and earn 90% of the engagement revenue when you do
Who We Are Looking For
You are an independent professional with deep, applied experience in one or more digital commerce domains. You have solved real problems — not just studied them — and you can translate complex commercial challenges into plans that business owners can execute.
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in digital commerce, B2B ecommerce, distribution strategy, or a directly adjacent field
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one of: B2B pricing strategy, marketplace management, dealer adoption, platform evaluation, digital marketing for wholesale, catalogue architecture, or ecommerce P&L management
- Ability to build and present structured deliverables to MD- or CXO-level audiences
- Strong understanding of how Indian distribution businesses actually operate — trade credit, pricing negotiation, ERP dependencies, dealer relationships
Preferred:
- Prior operational or strategic leadership at a distributor, manufacturer, or B2B ecommerce platform
- Familiarity with Bagisto, Saleor, Medusa.js, Shopify Plus, or Adobe Commerce
- Experience with Indian ERP integrations (SAP Business One, Tally, NetSuite, Zoho)
