About the Role
The Work Comp Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for work comp communication and coordination at Columbia Orthopaedic Group.
You will work closely with the Work Comp Supervisor, physicians, clinical teams, employers, and case managers to help ensure communication stays timely, organized, and professional throughout a patient’s care journey.
What You Will Do
· Coordinate communication through phone, email, fax, and other communication platforms
· Build and maintain strong professional relationships with employers, adjusters, and case managers
· Help keep work comp workflows organized, efficient, and moving forward
· Communicate with physicians, staff, and outside contacts regarding patient care coordination
· Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
· Support a positive experience for injured workers and employer partners
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
· Previous workers’ compensation experience strongly preferred and will set you apart from other candidates
· Executive assistant or high-level administrative support experience strongly considered
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills
· Self-starter with excellent follow-through and organizational skills
· Ability to stay focused and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Positive attitude and team-first mindset
