Business Support Specialist
Our Systems and Business Analytics team is hiring a Business Support Specialist to support the continued success of our Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) MV90 system - an engineering and measurement tool that collects, analyzes, and delivers meter reads for our largest industrial and business customers to our Billing department and other areas of the organization. You will execute MV90 operator responsibilities and complete AMI meter investigations, including conducting and providing device-level research and evaluation.
What Else Will You be Doing?
- Troubleshooting device and meter problems through gathering and researching data
- Assisting with data analysis related to meter devices
- Delivering oral and written research and data findings, input, solutions, and recommendations for meter device resolution and improvement
- Monitoring and overseeing complex device and system transactions for accuracy and correct delivery to our Billing department and other groups
Who You Are
- Experience with analyzing and interpreting data and reporting out on findings
- Ability to review data and information for accuracy and reporting
- Ability to present information to ensure understanding
- Ability to accurately carry out operational and tactical tasks (e.g., data migration/transferring data between systems)
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (1/3 of the time), and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary only if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions within an office working environment.
