POSITION TITLE: Part-Time Fitness Center Clerk

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Administrative Services

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, dynamic professional to join our LCC team. Our institutions provide the highest quality education and service excellence in an environment of care, support, mutual respect, and integrity. Our Part Time Fitness Center Clerk will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our members and guests, ensuring a positive experience in the LCC Fitness Center.

As an employee of, and the Colorado Community College System, this position is required to uphold and enforce the policies of LCC and CCCS, and all local, state and federal laws. This position will comply with all student privacy laws (FERPA); and is a mandatory reporter of any suspected illegal activity. 

  

Position Duties

 DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet members and guests as they enter the fitness center
• Assist members with check-in and registration processes
• Answer phone calls and provide information about the facility and its services
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness center
• Monitor equipment and report any maintenance issues
• Enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure safety and security
• Assist with special events and promotions as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates Degree
• Previous customer service experience
• CPR/AED certification is desirable but not required

This position is not eligible for Colorado PERA. It is designated as a non-benefit-eligible role and is subject to all provisions outlined for that classification within the Colorado Community College System.

Employees in this position earn sick leave at a rate of one (1) hour for every thirty (30) hours worked.
