Description

Colorado’s 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are committed to our community and our mission to administer justice, advocate for victims and partner with law enforcement and citizens in this community in the deterrence and prevention of crime. The office has a staff of 250 employees comprised of attorneys, investigators, and support personnel.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Strong organizational skills
  • Experience with computer databases
  • Able to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to maintain productivity with frequent interruptions
  • One-year clerical/office experience, preferably in the District Attorney’s Office
  • Familiarity with Rule 16 a plus
  •  Good customer service skills
  • High School diploma supplemented by a minimum two years legal experience.

    • any equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Process, prepare and release all discovery requested by defendants, defense counsel, and other parties.
  • Provide polite and efficient customer service.
  • Process discovery timely and accurately, paying great attention to details. 
  • Review files to identify all discoverable documents in the file.
  • A thorough understanding of the imaging system, Action and electronic ordering system will be required to produce and release discovery.
  • Prepares, processes and releases other discovery as determined by the Department Manager.
